Grower’s Pride is new brand of food items that celebrates quality products proudly made in Canada. Colourphill was asked to design a packaging series to bring the Grower’s Pride canned tomatoes and tomato juice products, made using fresh-packed Canadian, non-GMO tomatoes, to market in a refreshingly Canadian way.
The canned tomatoes were produced in three varieties: diced, crushed and pureed. We designed a system to share common elements (green banner, typography, and maple leaf) but differentiated the varieties through photography and colour. The tomato juice also shares the common elements but works as a standalone product.
